Hi Everyone - anyone know where the chassis number is on an Uno, other than the plate by the radiator on the front of the car?

do you not have that plate? it sounds a little iffy...and haynes isnt telling me anything sorry.... good luck tho
Not sure if the mk2 is the same as the mk1, but on the mk1 the chassis number is also stamped onto the bodywork by the offside (drivers) front suspension strut.
Lift the bonnet and have look for a long series of numbers/ letters stamped onto the inner wing by the strut tower. If you find it, then that is your chassis number.
Problem is, the towers can sometimes rust and get plated over or replaced to get through the MOT as they are of structural importance. If that has happend then the numbers might have disappeared altogether.
