Technical Where does this go?

I am trying to find why my Panda has rough idle. So far this is what I found.

Red arrow points to problem. There is short hose connected there but I can't find where it should connect at the other end.

It usually goes to a MAP sensor. It's the vacuum take-off from the inlet manifold.

Rough idle will be due to the vacuum leak, and the ECU not knowing the reading from the MAP sensor.

Assuming that is, that your engine is fuel injected judging by the coil packs in the pic.

Where is MAP sensor located? Would it even run if it was missing completelly?

It would run badly if it's not connected, BUT, even if it doesn't have one, that piece needs blanking otherwise it will affect brake servo performance too due to vacuum leak through that opening.

That's what I did for now, but I would still like to find where is my MAP sensor

On my SPI panda it was located on the suspension tower. The blue one! [emoji1360]

Found it. Reconnected it and it is running beter.
