<font face="Andale Mono">Hey,

me again.

Having got the replacement fill in panel for the new punto, I'm looking to put a good looking head unit in. I really don't go for in car disco lighting. Most head units these days seem to be lacking in the subtlety department! all plasticy and flashing lights!

Anyone remember brushed aluminium, y'know proper metal construction.
I'm after something simple and clean. I like the Kenwood Chamelion head units for their blackness but they're just covering up a mobile disco!

I'd quite like CD with DAB.
Anyway... anyone out there got any ideas?

Keep safe and have fun

stick to pioneer, you can't go wring with them, they have a nice large OLE display, but dont look plasticy and tackey. if you get the deh-7500mp it has fill mp3/wma support too !

hi i liek teh blaupunkts myself they are normally quite stylishly plain i think they tend not to go in for the disco look . only thing i have found though is that due to the high location of teh stereo in the mk2 punto it has efected the viewing of my stereo. basically its more designed to be looked at from above or straight on. soo it appears just a tad darker than it really is. but hell i can live with that for some rocking sounds lol

anyone else noticed thsi on any other brands?

becker make the mose understated headunits i've seen and are packed with features
