why do you have to swap motors with your old headlights?
because when my car went into the garage, and they put the new lights in, they dint change or adjust any of the motors, and i have thrown my old headlights away, so i dnt think that my motors are working so i cannot adjust the height of the light beam, is there another way of fixing this without swapping the motors?
also, when i went to get my headlights aligned, they could only adjust the passenger side one, as the drivers side adjuster apparantley didn't adjust anything,does this mean a new headlight or is there a way aroud this?

I think if you are buying new lights you dont get motors - you need to switch them from your old lights.

no, i have the motors with my new lights, i presumed this is how all the lights came?
also do you know anything about the adjuster problem?
dont really want to have to buy a new light

Motors only have to be changed if they didnt come with marea lights. Sometimes the motors are used for spares so thats why they are sometimes missing. Just wire them up and go and get them aligned.

thats what im saying though, i the drivers side lamp will not align for some reason and whenever they try to adjust it nothing happens, do i need a new headlight?
i have a spare marea side headlight so could i swap the parts with that or is that not possible?

Sounds like the motor isnt put in propper - so it wont adjust the head light - take it off and refit the motor

when io adjust the headlights using the switch inside the car, both beams lift up and down so im presuming this means the motors are correctly fitteD ?
or am i wrong?
if not can i just swap the parts or not?

my adjuster also did not work - i had to take out the light and I noticed that the adjuster is stuck - some plastic was in the way.

sorry cant explain better.

best way for you would be to take out the light and see whats wrong.

thanks guys, but the guys at the garage said that the adjuster was moving, but it wasnt adjusting anything?
if i took the light out i wouldnt no wer to look for the adjuster so any pics or diagrams would be greatly appreciated!thanks
