Ok guys and gals I need some help! I'm after the figures for the tourqe settings for the wheel bolts on the Doblo for Alloy wheels. My new alloys are going on tomorrow (hopefully if the bolts get here) and I want them to be right!

My workshop manual states 8.6 on steel wheels and 9.8 on alloy wheels but it doesn't tell you what measure they are in. Upon looking at my tourqe wrench out of the 4 sets of figures none of them start that low.

If anyone does know, NM or lbs/ft2 would be fine :)

Nor me on my steel wheels, just didn't want to go over tightening them and causing problems with the alloy wheel :p

My mate's told me on a few occasions that I over tighten them!

Just in case anyone does want to know, if you have alloys it's 90NM and if you have steel wheels it's around 75NM :)

So if you have a meter long wrench you need to put 9Kg on the end of it?

or if you only have a 10cm wrench you need to put 90Kg on it!

So a typical 10" wrench will take around 40kg or a pretty good proportion of your body weight if you a skinny like me.
