Technical Wheel Replacement

Hi all,

I was wondering if I could get some help on something.. I need to replace the wheel on my Fiat Punto EVO 2011 but I am unsure what wheels will fit, does it need to specifically be a Fiat Punto Evo Wheel or can it be any wheel as long as the inch is the same as my current wheel.

I was told it needs replacing as it's acting as a 'slow puncture' due to a crack in the wheel itself.

Current tyre spec is 175/65r/15

If the wheel is really actually "cracked" then a replacement wheel would be the best option. However if it's just that it's gone porous - a not uncommon problem with alloy wheels as they age - an alloy wheel refurbisher will probably be able to "save" it for you.

You’ll need to get a wheel from another Punto either an Evo or grande or one of the later post 2012 puntos

It is possible that one from a similarly aged Vauxhall corsa would also do the job as the corsa and Evo share the same platform

Yes Andy, I think that's what i would do too. probably cheaper if you're happy to settle for a "not quite perfect" wheel.
