Technical Wheel Lock Nut

Youd think having gone down to the fiat garage and asking for a wheel lock nut they'd have at least asked if I had steel rims or gone and had a look for me. Numptys.

AFPMSL. What stopped you bending down for 5 secs to look at the wheels yourself? If a customer asks for a locking wheel bolt key, as a Dealer would you not presume they knew that they had checked themselves that they had locking bolts?

VW carried spare wheel lock nut tool pieces, id have thought other dealers would have done the same. Guessing that the standard alloys would all be the same nut?

If you read my previous post you'll see that I thought all cars these days came with wheel lock nuts as standard.

All I'm saying is a simple question woulda fixed this or a quick look, if I knew what I was doing I wouldnt have asked so cluelessly! I really dont like this fiat garage, so lazy and impolite

Fiat gave Dealers the option of buying Master sets of the current locking wheel nut designs. Many bought them, many didn't. Having only one design of locking wheel bolt would be pointless and negate the whole concept as a thief would only need one tool to steal any alloy, rather than the 30 or so designs that Fiat use for Thatchem approval.

I have read the thread, and like many I seem surprised you call the Dealer numptys for being "lazy and impolite" for not having "a quick look", when you could've looked for yourself to confirm what you believed, or how about a quick phone call- "Excuse me, I've got steel wheels on my Bravo and I was wondering if I have locking wheel bolts?"
