Technical Whats this !!! Help needed !!!

On the way home from B&Q earlier, a light come on the way home had a loss of power, and the lights and wipers went funny then everything went okay..... but light was still on.... when i got home, i switched it off and tried to start again and it wouldnt start... came up on dash with the error message... SEE HANDBOOK CONTACT FIAT ? or something to them words.... sounds really strange me asking with being a mechanic but i dont know what the light is and i dunno where my hand book is because i have most things still in boxes since i moved any help would be great.

It's the Immobilser light.

immobiliser light, possible wiring/CAN/power supply or earthing fault. Was it wet at the time...possible water ingress (fusebox) ?

if it 'flashes' it means the imobiliser isn't workng.

it flashed earlier when tried to start it but now its starting

no, its under warranty. ask for copy of examiner printout when they scan the modules for errors.

bit of an update, the car went in to fiat today come back with a body computer fault.... so they have kept my car in for now... until they can get a body computer

Hopefully this will be the last update to this thread i have got my car back today and its running fab it was the body computer that went wrong only thing i have to do is get used to driving a small car again lol been driving a C5 since it broke down
