Been looking into ways of smoothing out the juddery take off my car suffers from, only does it cold, first start of the day, or after re-starting after a very short journey. I;m getting 12.1v resting voltage (no load first thing in the morning.) This fires the car with ease. Then I'm getting 13.8v no load and 13.4v with all lights on.
The running voltages are fine, the resting voltage is a little low for my liking.
If anyone with a Selespeed Abarth has a voltmeter to hand sometime soon, I'd appreciate a cold reading, with all doors shut and enough time left for the interior lights to go out. I'm thinking shot or near shot battery?
Any thoughts?
