Mines an 04 dynamic mw but no mfsw or sliding rears or split tailgate. So maybe its a late pre facelift. How can you tell?
They were all like that from the factory, don't ask me why. I de-badged mine...
You know what I mean - the opening tailgate window. Used to have one on one of my BMWs, think I used it about twice in three years.

Yeah, I think so. Where you can open just the glass bit on its own, or the entire tailgate

So bearing in mind Richy's 02 plate with leather has a ski hatch & stilotastic's 06 onwards Stilo without leather doesn't, it could've either been removed on the 3dr's from the 2004 facelift onwards (mine's a 2004 '54' plate) or it could've been removed from cars with leather from 04 onwards and then from all models from the 06 facelift.Anyone with a 2004-2006 3dr model with cloth interior that has got a ski hatch?!

Mine been a 2005/55, does not have rear sliding seats either, it was a option by then, but was told it was standard from a 52 plate to a 53 plate on a MW.
Learn something every day, I thought that all MWs had split tailgates
Also I thought, that as well, but the back end of the MW without a split tailgate is different than a MW that has.
The MW without has a stuck on moulded plastic block to tailgate and the MW with does not, but has a good load lip in lieu of the moulding that the MW's that do not have a split tailgate.
Its very useful for just popping in shopping bags and putting long things in, without opening the entire tail gate.
I'll keep my eyes peeled for other MWs and see if I see any with a visible section of bumber when closed then... I actually like the way its all flush ar the back on mine.
I also discovered yesterday that I have a drawer under my drivers seat. I'd checked the passender side when I got it... that hasn't got one, which is the opposite of my old BMW 523, which has one passenger side but not drivers!

ive got one under both seats... though still dont even slightly use them for anything

Owners manual fits in fine.
Not a water trap as such, but tends to get muddy/dirty/dusty.

mines a on a 51 plate but a 2002 car its has the reverseing sensors and the wiper sensor and the automatic lights and a/c but has steel wheels but mine was a demostrater for fiat it also has a cd player
