Whats the biggest engine you can fit in a fiat punto mk 2? Purely in terms of size not feasability

your question makes no sense
you can fit any engine if it doesnt matter about being feasible
you could use the punto as an air filter to a warship engine if feasibility doesnt matter

fine..... whats the largest engine you can fit under the bonnet, without changing the exterior look.

Hi, Not sure of the answer , but one thing i am sure is that you wont get a straight answer from some of these smart asses and i feel a bit sorry for you and the other green horns who use this site for help. good luck any way. Oh , if its any consolation i understood what you were trying to get at,and as i said ,i dont know.

all the OP has to do is tell people what they want
Be careful about calling other members on the sites names.....

he hasnt said what he wants to do, can get massive engines in if you fit them in the rear:confused:

You could fit a Chevy small-block in there if you wanted. A Warhawk LS7X block can be bored and stroked to a maximum displacement of 454ci, which is 7.4 litres.

Like others said though, you can fit just about anything. A Chevy 572 big-block would probably fit too. Or a Top Fuel/Pro mod (up to 13-litre) would fit too if you wanted. Among many others.

If i was going to do a realistic engine conversion, i'd put a 20vT in there from a Coupé turbo. Or an Alfa 3.2 V6.

yep!

I'm not sure I'd even try if you have no idea what you want to do or your budget. Also factor in insurance costs of the modded car. Insurers hate 'em and will hammer you!

Much easier for a novice to sell your car and buy something with more poke as standard..TJet anybody?

If you were considering a realistic and moderate cost option then any of the Fiat / Alfa 1.8-2.0 blocks should go with some cuss words, custom drive shafts and probably new engine mounts.
