Not had any experience of either TBH but I know friends who have fitted Spax stuff in the past & they're just cheap & nasty! (n) Terrible ride!

my mate had spax adjustables on his corsa :yuck: , front shocks needed replacing after a year as they where leaking, i thought they would be gas

are the punto coilovers adujstable at the rear, if not i never see a point in doing only half a job :(

are we not allowed to suggest other kits??

IIRC even gas shocks have oil.in non gas ones the damping or something is done by oil whereas on the gas ones its um gas.
i know its one part that oil and the other gas, really should pay more attention. i go with the spax as a harsh ride suits the cinq to a tee ;)

i wont be :)

how that work

i like spax, but i think if they hard all the time  , you be feeling it, i know my mate has had back problems, but still refuses to make the ride softer :bang:

which ones the most expensive, you gonna go for the cheapest :p

Well in all cases, the front shocks on most modern cars are of a coilover design anywhoo...and lots of them utilise coilovers on the back too.

Id go for full adjustable if its affordable...but look at the possibility of using different springs (slightly less stiff)

How much do you like decent ride quality? Because if you fit adjustable coilovers you will lose it! Obviously the more you spend on the coilover kit the better this will be. I was going to spend 650quid on a KW kit (They do one for the mk2 Punto ;)) after hearing that these are top notch from a few people. In the end I didnt because it would mean me messing with my lights and stuff.

If the kit you want to get is a bit cheap, id avoid it and fit the sports suspension kit. Do Koni make dampers for the mk2? If so get some of those with Eibach springs ;) (Just to give you some more choices)
