General Whats that rattling noise?

Hi,

I've got this rattling noise from the rear of the car when I'm driving.
My initial inclination was that it might be the rear doors, or even the tail gate, but the sound tends to go away if the rear seat is occupied.
I suspect it could be the two latch thingies that hold the rear seat back up, but I'm can't be certain. Neither am I sure how do I fix it if they are indeed the source of the sound.

Any ideas about what could be the source of the sound and how to fix it?

If they are the problem then un clip them, pull the seat down and wrap insulating tape around the bolt that the latches, latch to.

I get this sometimes, usually when just starting off or accelerating.

Never known where to look though.

some time back i also had the same problem.

The rubber support boot which holds the rear sturts wewe cut. After replacing it was OK
