A very amusing afternoon.
Weekly conference call at 2pm, boss conducts it, 18 store managers, 2 relief managers and me 'listen'.
He tells the store managers they are no longer allowed to have Saturdays off whatsoever, without giving any real reason, so all 18 of them practically linch him on the phone. This goes on for around 10mins, im quietly laughing in the background. They calm down a bit, so i thinks now's as good a time as any, so i announce my resignation - he goes nuts!!
....i've never heard the word 'inappropriate' used in the space of 5 mins more in my life, but by the end he sounded exacerbated & hung up.
He'll be crying into his beer tonight, whilst listening to this:
