Cheers
Onshore, not in the oil at all... welding for a steel buildings company. It's good though, gets me out the house and back into some sort of routine. :)

Found biscuits when sorting out the FS boxes. Ok, so they're tesco cheapie biscuits but they taste ok which is probably just as well considering the fuss Martyn and Martin made when buying them on Saturday night. Had to be biscuity biscuits and nothing else would do

The really nasty strains of E. coli are now generally being referred to as verotoxin-producing E. coli and the acronym in common use is VTEC. I've just sat through a meeting about detection of VTEC in food and kept thinking of little hondas hiding in fields of crops waiting to be ousted.

I'm easily amused :D

my smile today?

well its more of a grimace... just spent nearly a grand on steel alone from the local suppliers for a 'wee job' for a local farmer.....

I swear the laptop has gotten heavier just with the amount of 0000's that's on his invoice already haha

 Thankfully I wasn't making the noises in my head at the same time.

I'm now on leave for a few days :D It's been a hectic couple of months so I'm looking forward to switching off and forgetting about work for a while. A nice, long road trip should do it ;)

We will get pics of the 'wee job' right?

Of course... there will be project farmers gate, and project cattle feeder in the projects section soon.

Job offer for after the move down south. That makes life a lot more relaxed for the next 4 weeks. Now I just have to recommission and MOT the car that's been sitting on the drive on a SORN for the last 2 years so I can drive it down...

Congratulations on the new job :D What will you be doing?

Oh and tell the youngster I was thinking of him on June 19th. I hope he enjoyed himself
Thanks, job is the same again, managing a charity shop in Retford. Alexander seemed pretty pleased on the day, now a fully rubber stamped member of both Anglican and Methodist churches. I just hope Forza went well enough to be a fixture next year. I'll be much closer too. Gutted to miss it really, SICD might be the only show I make this year at this rate :(

Sensible lad, he can pick and choose dependent on whoever has the better service

Forza was good but had some teething problems which is to be expected as it was their first attempt at putting on their own show. The venue didn't help much by throwing a few surprises at them on the day. Hopefully it will run next year but I suppose it depends if Ben and Dom think it worth all the work and hassle. It's not an easy task.

At least you made the best show of the season ;) I take it mitcar is definitely out with the move etc.

Mitcar is the other one I might still make, depends on cars more really. Grumbleweed's now SORN and getting rolled away into the garage when we get there for a bit of work on his increasingly rough edges. Roofus is also still not right and I'll not really be doing anything about it any time soon with the Pug needing to get back up and running.

I've had Callum trying to persuade me to go to Mitcar for much of the afternoon. Head says no as I've just forked out for a new washing machine and the service and MOT is due on the punto next month. But Mitcar...

Good luck with the move!

Got a job interview/business opp to go look into tomorrow :) Really hopeful there's an avenue here. There's only so much Jeremy Kyle that's good for you, right?

In other smiling news - politics. Boris for Foreign Secretary? That is a joke...right....
