Oh & managed to get DSM (deputy store manager) to open the roof vents at work.
He asked me how I was, as I was off sick on Wednesday, told him that I get severe Migraines as it's too hot in the store & that we never have the roof vents open (had to point where the vents were) the reaction I got was "Ok Andi I'll go & open them!" :yes2: 2mins later the roof vents were opened to help cool the shop floor down & let more natural light in.
 
Just taken a wee wonder down to the post box and was greeted quite enthusiastically by 2 of the more aloof neighbourhood cats. Wasn't quite sure why but took the opportunity to say hello. All was going well with them enjoying a decent scratch and then they suddenly started hissing. I turned round and there was their owner approaching with a 3-month old retriever puppy - cats ran away sharpish and owner looked worried when he realised I'd spotted they now have a dog...

Anyone would think I have a reputation for being a potential dog-napper :laugh:

Your mission (and you don't get to choose whether or not to accept it as you knew what you were letting yourself in for when you were recruited as a member of FS events team) is to publicise the joint FS/FF events mercilessly on both sites. There will be no let up and you will work hard on our behalf

Got 2 New drums for Dubster & a brake kit, with Shoe Retaining Clips & Springs.

Special order through TMS, £10 Deposit last Saturday, then £50.70 for the rest today.

Now need to get the time to do the following on Dubster: Remove & throwaway the old drums, remove & throwaway the old shoes, make a note of how far out the HB Adjusters are & throw the old ones out, put the new shoes, HB Adjusters, Springs, Clips & drums on.... :wacko:

Thanks to a drop in ambient temperature I got caught up with some of the garden jobs today. Absolutely knackered now but very pleased with what I achieved :)
 
Wifey's birthday so had a BBQ wi m5haw n family, cracking night an a wee yella cinq on the drive ;)

Ooh an Martyn was sporting a new FS hoodie too :)
 
haha that was only a shower, and it's stopped now Miss Procrastinator ;) haha
 
Don't knock procrastination - it's saved me many a time from doing jobs around the house I simply didn't want to do ;)

Why do today what you can put off indefinitely :laugh:
