No cards written. No presents bought. Less than 2 weeks to go. Plus I have my Christmas night out on Friday.w00t.

christ men, had to drag david into town last weekend to get his familys gifts and if it wasnt for me writting out his cards they wudnt have got done!!!!

Christmas cards are offically a waste of both money - and more importantly - the person who writes thems' time. Its like when you receive a card from somebody and they ask you if you have received it yet (they only ask because they are are waiting on one back in return) and I just lie and say I havent received it so that you dont need to send them one back.

The only Christmas cards I am buying this year are some ones from the Scottish International Relief Fund (SIR) - they are £5 each but the money goes directly to helping the children, did you know that £5 is enough to feed a single child for a whole School year? I kno that £5 isnt really much to me or whoever I buy the card for but it makes a massive difference to that one child who doesnt go hungry every night - kinda makes the whole christmass stress we suffer from seem slightly out of proportion... we get stressed out because we havent bought enough gifts or wrote cards when they get stressed out because they havent eaten in like 4 days....

Anways Id best get back to my uni work...

I've seen folk here tipex out the contents of their annual card collection then re-write them and save them for the following year.
