Yeah - I say "leave it"... no offence intended to chrisunoman, but that red bonnet looks like a patchwork quilt, with the curved line of the original slots clashing with that rectangular add-on scoop, and those added-in louvres don't really seem to pick up on the style IMHO.

Also, the last time I saw louvres that shape was on a 1934 Morgan Family three-wheeler... or maybe it was on the side of my MIG welder.

I reckon, if you really need extra cooling, some slots in the style of the Mk1 bonnet would be a good idea. Maybe cut the section out of a Mk1 bonnet and graft it in nearer the front of the Mk2? Those oval slots are very much a FIAT thing; the old 128, 128 Coupe, 127, and 131 all had variations on the theme. I was a bit sad to see FIAT lose them with the Mk2 Uno and all later models.

I say leave it too, Unos look much better subtly modified and with the styling largely as Fiat intended! Just posted the pics as i had them on my comp :p

so many choices dont know what to get. or shall i just leave it as it is.

Absolutely 100% leave your car as it is. Looks mint like that, if you put vents on it, I personally think it will be for the worse. Don't do it, your car looks great already!
