a few days ago a car parked round the back of my house was vandalised!

all the windows were smashed, marker pen scrawed over the bodywork and a tin of paint tipped inside to finish the job! :p

well, i sat there, looked at it, thought "damn" and went on my merry way, thinking when the owner sees it, it will be moved or something!

but its still there! 3 days later!!! and its just making the place look crap, its near a school for gods sake!:mad:

so, what can i do about it?

who do i phone? :( will the council move it? or will it sit there and rot? slowly being picked apart from vandals?

a bit to close to my house for that kinda thing!

i like having a roof over my head :p

and its not "the wife" they wouldnt of written graffiti over it in blue pen

and its a N reg Skoda Felicia "Bohemia" shame they poured paint into i, my dads one coulda done with a new set of seats :(

mmmm id just report it to council or something. if it has tax take it out so then it can be removed because of no tax?

few years ago, a pug 205 was sitting down my road for about 12 months, then got broken into and got stolen and driven into a wall up the road, then the chavs stripped bits of it out and went round the area selling bits lol, then it was set alight, and after several more months it was finally taken away.

hmm :chin:

cant you take tax disks back to the PO to get money back?

There was a car outside my mates for about 10 months. Some old vauxhall something. We knew it wasnt going anywhere, it had no engine.

Which is why I very NEARLY wet myself with laughter as we watched 2 guys trying to hotwire it for about 15 mins before giving up and legging it.

Got a video of some of it, doesnt really show much though, just some guys playing with wires.

Yes, councils now have a duty to act on any reported cars, if I remember correctly. Another reason why you (or your parents') council tax bill is so high.

ill call the council, if they take it, they can contact the owner

where as if i have it scraped it would be in the back of my mind the owner might be wondering where the **** his cars gone :p
