General What sort of quality are the standard Speaker systems?

i dont play music loud i just like to have good sounding music, will the standard speakers do this or should i invest in some other speakers?

if so could u point me in the right direction!

I'm quite impressed with the quality of the sound in my GP. Better than my Astra which had more speakers. I don't know if the sound system is any different in higher spec models though.

The sound system standard is adequate if anything a small under seat active subwoofer would add the bass that is lacking in the standard set up.

I'm very impressed with my standard system...goes relatively loud and keeps a good quality, far better than my sisters C3 and my other sisters Clio...

If you don't want it really really loud, you will have no complaints

what type of active sub would go under the seat?

Actually. The OEM Speakers are not bad at all. It is the amp in the HU that lets them down. I was pleasantly surprised when I coupled them up with my 9887r.

Went ahead and changed them anyway though!

Are these things easy to install?
Easy to plug it in to the headunit?
