I managed to completely miss the release of the album last year probably due to so many things breaking down on me and the stress of working out how to fund things. I'm only catching up on new/old music now and I have to say there's nothing there that says buy me now.

I'll listen some more and then make my decision
 
I'll be honest, on the subject of Franz Ferdinand, i don't think they are a good album band. (i'd go as far as saying they are pretty **** when it comes to albums) You get the odd good song in amongst a load of bland or downright awful stuff that they think (in their "we're an art band" you probably just don't get it, way) is a lot more clever than it actually is.

Missed the album release entirely too fwiw, i gave up with them long ago but they came up randomly on spotify so i gave it a listen and wasn't overwhelmed. Here's to 3 years time when i remember they exist again :laugh:
 
A combination of hearing Drifting Away by Faithless earlier today and a random comment on a site elsewhere led me to look up some old Trigger Happy TV clips on youtube. It's not as funny as I remember it but the background music was and still is wonderfully eclectic including this which samples from one of my favourite operas
