I presume this is for an Uno, Biz?

I think it'll be easiest to stick with Uno seats, because the seat rail arrangement on the Uno is unique (as far as I know). Anything for the Strada or older models is going to have horizontal tracks rather than the vertical rails on the Uno.

I always think the best approach would be to get Mk1 Turbo seats re-upholstered in Alcantara, or maybe that nice hard leather, but sparingly. I don't think a 'full-leather' re-trim in soft, cossetting leather is quite appropriate in this case... :)

In the meantime, I make do with seatcovers; polyurethane-cloth (looks like vinyl, feels weird!) and mesh. About $50 (18 quid?) If we fit replacement seats from other models, we have to get special certification over here...

I see a problem in the next 10-20 years when we want to restore Mk1 Uno Turbos to their original trim... it's just not possible to get that stringy black fabric?

Cheers,
-Alex

One solution to the Uno Turbo seat problem I thought about was find spare seats and transfer the covers. I tracked some down earlier this week but they were too far away for me to be bothered. My ones are mint other than the foam needs replacing and the drivers seat is well worn. I was going to get them and use the good passenger to replace the drivers cover. If I could find another good passenger seat you could have a nice nearly new retrim :D
