Technical What sealant for resealing ECUs?

As the topic title - what sealant should I use for rejoining/resealing the top and bottom half of the ECU case? Is it simply silicon sealant or something that needs a higher temperature rating?

Im about to take my ECU off and take a look at it myself and resolder if needed, was thinking the same thing about the silicon, i would say higher temp rating but unsure myself?!?!?

I got an answer elsewhere that said to just use regular silicon sealant. I got a tube of grey stuff from Halfrauds for about six quid.
