General What random thing does your 500 do?

Morning all,

Bit of a novelty thread to make up for the rubbish weather today.

For about three weeks, our car developed a rather bizarre habit - each time the ignition was turned off, the passenger light sensor would activate and would also be accompanied by a twanging sound just like someone strumming a chord on a guitar!

Then all of a sudden it just stopped about two weeks ago, but everything is working fine still.

Has your 500 had any strange habits that leave you scratching your head?

For the last couple of weeks, normally on a Friday. I've come home to a spotless house, the dinner is cooked with beers in the fridge. My missus says she's too busy, so there's no one else that's done it. It must be the 500....!

No - it's because you are newly weds so she still loves, honours and obeys you. Give it time....

Reminds me of the joke:

Q: How can you tell the difference between your wife and your dog?
A: Lock them both in the boot of your car for an hour. When you come back, the one that is pleased to see you is your dog.

Ah, but the clincher here is clearly the last point - beers chilling in the fridge.

How many wives (newly weds or not) would leave beer in the fridge for their husband? Answer - none!

On that basis, I'm leaning towards the 500. Or perhaps it was that little chap playing the guitar in my car a few weeks back who decided to clear off and bother another 500 owner?

The mystery deepens....
