Hello

I recently bough a 2008 Fiat Panda 4x4 1.3D Multijet, but due to no paper-trail, I'm uncertain if this model is the standard one or climbing.
Also interested in finding out how the 4x4 system works on this model as this seems to be different depending on models. There is no "lock/4wd" button inside the cabin.
From what I can tell the front bullbar is rare? Special edition or aftermarket?
Sorry for the stupid questions, I've only owned the cars for two days.

This model was never offered in the UK - MJ engine was only available in the Cross - which was a great pity. The Cross had a load of plastic trim added to make it look like a Tonka toy.

Personal plea - please take off the (so-called) bullbar, it's lethal to pedestrians, especially children. I'm guessing you're in Norway (my brother lives in Voss) so the risks of encountering a moose are fairly low.

The risk of mose is fairly low ( mose population of 120 000 in my country), but (un)fortunately our holiday house is on an Red deer infested island where I actually think there are more big wild animals than people (2 800). The Fiat panda older models is rated terribly for pedestrians with no "bull bar" and with the animal issue I'd prefer to keep it on for now. (please make a separate tread if you wish to debate usage of bull bar futher)

I know the car is imported, maybe from Germany or Italy?
Big question is if it's an Climbing model?

I'll buy the bull-bar off you....... I don't care about pedestrians! Or cyclists, for that matter!

It's the European version of the Climbing for which the lucky Europeans got a Multijet version. I can't remember the exact name they had for it, but it seemed to come with more added extras than the UK version. Love it! Best colour was yellow in my opinion.

Btw love Norway. Spent 2 and a half weeks driving from Bergen to the Lofoten Islands and back down again a few years ago.

Thank you guys for clearing up what model I bought and the kind words. Very happy with the car so far. Was also fitted by previous owner with a defa heater system, chip tuned and factory mp3 player. Gonna get a tow bar installed soon for some caravaning

I found out who is the real maker of it:
misutonida com

Unfortunately they say it is not EC/EU legal and since Norway follows 99% of all EU laws even as a non-member, I am forced to take it of. :(
