did you remove an installation disk part way through?

It says:
this feature you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM or a other removeable disk that is not available.

Insert the "ccCommon disk and click.


But i have never had a ccCommon disk and it is Pissing me off

something 'common'.somethings looking for missing files.
you can open the 'run' box and type in MSCONFIG
now on the box that opens,go to start up and disable all non microsft items and do a reboot.
now if that box doesnt appear then repeat the MSCONFIG but only enable 1 at a time till it reappears.that way you will know whats causing it

ccCommon is part of Norton Antivirus / Internet Security. Also, Some Adware/Spyware detection software uses ccCommon.

Have you recently installed one of these or had a Live update from the Norton Website?

I had the same problem a while ago and re-installed Norton again, Did the updates and the Error went away..
