What is this connector for?

I was fiddling around today in my Bravo and I ripped off the gearstick gator. I found a connector with about 12 wires going to it, but was not plugged into anything.

It only seemed long enough to go as far as the gearstick so I'm a bit baffled at what it is for.

Anyone any ideas?

1.2SX 16V T plate. Does not have electric Mirrors.

Ian it is for the electric mirrors all the bravo/a's have the same wiring loom they just don't use the bits that aren't needed.
That connector is where i have powered my DVD from.
