Dave, just out of interest, even though your down at most of the RR days and close to OldSchool your still not running a GSR induction kit and a BMC CDA instead?

it will have gsr kit soon, i needed a an extra pipe on one before for speedgear extra servo pipe, but now i have than special crank case breather pod, i can use normal gsr :slayer:
i did test a grs at one rr day and got 4 bhp more than that cda with the old old engine
ahh right ok... thats a decent gain then, did you have before and after RR with the CDA? show gains?

having a smoke break, its gonna be close if i get it all done, had to pop out for a few bits, then terminal on starter broke off so had to fix that....

fitting bigger oil seal on cam didn't work, i started it up an oil **** out. gonna have to fit the star jet cam pulley now,but is it going to stick out to far and hit engine mount? :spin:

i got no choice, i gave it to some one to play with an it gone now, so going put 1.2 cams n carrier in until i find some 100hp or punto mk2b 1.4 ones
are the 1.2 cam profiles any different from 1.4 profiles?

right got the 1.2 cams on now, took ages to clean carrier
i dropped one of the alloy bolt caps down number 1 plug hole as well :bang: took ages to get it out, tried screw driver, no good, tried hoover, no good. got a bit og 8mm wooden dowel and tapped it into the hex hole and lifted it out with that.
inlet manifold is pain in the arse to get at bolts with it in the car

tis done, it was a bit tractory at first, i think because oil had to get around all the bits that are new n tight.
gear box seems to be making a chaff chaff noise, i hope that just because it needs a run
