I have a really loud tinny noise coming from the Exhaust. Not had chance to examine it yet but I'm suspecting a crack or a hole. Rear box hangers are all bent out of shape and I'm considering a new exhaust.

GF's dad's Tipo has a custom powerflow fitted. Cost him £375 and thats got a lifetime warranty. Free yearly checkups etc. Fits really well although I think the end is a little wide.

Anyone reccomend any other exhausts? I'm pained to buy a original since the price will probably be as much as a custom stainless steel jobby.

I was going to go Powerflow as I hear they are the men...

and put on two o these:

Along with a back Bumper extension, so if you could imagin the exhaust would pertrude bumper instead of just sitting below it.

the problem with the powerflow is the quality varies depending where you go.the one in burnley was excellent.it booms a bit,but otherwise very good with correct hangers etc.ive seen one where all the welds were crap and had hangers that were far to weak for the weight.stainless steel is the way to go though. :p

Achtung!

Thats fricking huge! Think I'll go for 1x something similar to whats on now. Dont want a small family of imigrants sneeking into the country inside my exhaust exit while on a European holiday.

LMAO its not that big in real life :p

I'd get a large back box (Larger the box quieter the xuast right?) as I don't want to wake up half the country when i start up in the morning.

Just want a subtle humm sound while cruisin, speeding, idling and erm... just dont want it loud.

holy **** if you put 2 of them on I'll personally come round tie them to my tow hitch and pull them off, that would be the lamest looking thing ever - sorry.

Hellcat I need to get a system made for the race car, but a good one not powerflow ****, I want a cut stainless end no chrome to 6inch bore just a clean cut like tvr griff's have. I was thinking of simpson racing to make one but that may cost too much. Will have to see,

Dont worry! I'm looking for a single exit and not too large! If you happen to have an exhaust spare I'll take it off your hands!

I've got 2 of these on my Stilo from Powerflow. Look and sound great! :D

You have got to be kidding me! They are a right set of cnuts in Burnley! I had an exhaust fitted by them on one of my Astras and I've had nowt but trouble with it! Poor welds, backbox kept falling of the hanger, big hole ripped in the box where bracket was welded to etc! None of them can be arsed in there and when you ask them for anything, they react as if you're wasting their time!

The best one in the North West has got to be District Garage in Bury (they fitted the system on my Stilo).

Guess it just depends on whos working on the day... just like most places :p

StiloSport have you got a pic of your Stilo with the Exhausts? I looked in your gallery and didn't find any :(

Not the best pic in the world but you'll get the idea. I'll take some better pics if the weather holds out tomorrow! (y)

You got a quote for your exhaust yet Rich? What you have planned sounds fab but probably not road legal :p

I've been looking for supersprint exhausts but they don't seem to do the Tipo anymore. Having finally got my head under the car the middle section looks much newer than the front, and the rear looks awful. Front section looks quite rusty and could be holed. I might open a bank account in its name...

Plus need to check with the insurers how much of my arm or leg they want...
