what exactly is a HGT?

Hi!

it may sound as a stupid question, but i'm gonna to ask it anyway
What are the characteristics of a fiat bravo HGT? I hear people talking about it but I don't know what it means.
Can anyone explain?

Top of the range

The HGT is the top of the range bravo. S is at the bottom, then SX, then HLX then HGT i think. The HGT has a 2.0 litre 5 cylinder engine, as well as some other nice features to set it apart from lesser models

hmm... thanx for your answer.
I have a fiat Bravo 1.9 JTD 105 GT
So I assume this isn't called a HGT? What is my car called? But maybe there are differences because I live in Belgium.

GT

GT is a suffix added by FIAT in some markets in Europe instead of the HLX suffix used in the UK. The letters used usually denote trim level, S being the basic entry level, SX the next stage up and HLX being higher than that. FIAT have always confused it's buying public by using different trim suffixes since the 80's, combining that with either engine size or BHP figure e.g. 1.4 SX or 115 SX.

So, simply put, ur GT Diesel is the same as a UK HLX. Same trim, same engine. The HGT is, as has been mentioned b4, the top of the range model with the 155BHP 2.0L 20v 5 pot engine.
