Hi, can someone please tell me what I need to be able to read the fault codes from my fiat stilo 1.9 jtd multijet,
If possible could you please send me a few links of what I need to buy from ebay. Thanks
Comined with fiatecuscan free you can reset engine codes. However, if you want to do more like reset the service indicator, you need an ELM327 cable, which is apparently more fiddly to set up

the software gives ya the same garage stuff,
depending on the cable ya bought ya may need the red, green and yellow adapter cables, for abs and airbag codes,
also available on ebay
That cable is enough to read and reset engine fault codes without needing any adaptors, switches or anything. Certainly worth 8 quid to check and clear fault codes - if you want to do more, spend more later on!

I'm not particularly sure what the difference is between this one and the obd cables. Obviously the price is different. As long as I can reset my Engine management light, I'm too bothered. So I have to download Fiat Ecu scan on my laptop and I'm good to go?
