What Colour?

I have just brought a 1.6 ELX, its black (as stated on the log book).
But in day light, next to a black car it is clearly dark metallic blue.
What is this colour as described by Fiat?

It's not black

It sounds like ink black,which is the same as my bravo,and on my log book it says ink black,as you say it looks black in the dark but it's actually metallic blue.Why it says black on the log book i don't know.

yip that would be metallic ink black alright, if you open the boot and look on the bottom of the lid (now above you)you should see a foil sticker telling you your paint colour and its fiat code....
