I saw a motor for sale on ebay and it said PX for small car. It was only £2500 so I told the bloke I would consider paying £1500 and my car which is a 99T 1.8HLX Bravo (I really wanted a bit more but fancied his car). He told me he would not give any more than £500 for mine....what a cheeky t**t. Does he not know that my motor is worth much more than a tatty old M reg fiesta or micra!! I've had it six years and am only second owner, so it took alot to even think about swapping it. I'm just a little bored and fancy a change but thats put me off selling....well for that money anyway.
Any similar experiences??

in standard form, in fair condition, you'd get a grand for your motor. in mint condition, with all its service history etc, maybe as much as 1500 in a private sale. imo.

Thanks for that. Thats what I was thinking. Mine has got the heated seats and both A/C and e/sunrooof. As well as 17's.
Bloke was a bit of a nob jockey me thinks!!

you have to bear i mind th guy prob doesnt want a bravo for some strange reason, so he has to take a risk on it etc so i'd probably only want to give someoone 500 for a car i didnt want as the cheepness just takes the hassle away from them selling it privately
