Didn't know whether this should go in bodyshop or garages, so please move it if I got it wrong -

Does anyone have any experience with Wentane Motors' bodyshop, otherwise known as Cleveland Body & Paint? i'm sending my mk2 punto there for a rear bumper replacement (dumb college kid hit me), hoping they'll be nice and let me switch my order to an abarth one too -

If anyone knows, what is their work like? is their customer service good enough that they're likely to allow me to change my mind? (it's going in in two weeks' time).

Thanks in advance,

Ben

I've had a couple of quotes from them and they've been more expensive than the places I've used in the end but unfortunately can't recommend them either as shoddy jobs were done by both and never did find out if I paid more if I got a good job :(

The guys in the parts dept of that place are great but the guys on service aren't that good - well they think they can talk to me like I'm a dumb blonde n I don't appreciate it!

Sorry that's been of no help really - lol - but if u do use them let me know how good they are as I may use them again if someone else rear ends me!

I have used Hanleys to repair mine after my girlfriend grated the door on a bollard in Darlo.

Hanleys Motor Body Repairs
1, Rennie Rd, Skippers Lane Industrial Estate, Middlesbrough, Cleveland TS6 6PX
Tel: 01642 457474

The finish & paint matching was excellent, don't know how competitive there price is though.

Let me know how you get on

All my bodywork was done by Bodycraft on Snowden Road, over the border. Was well impressed with it :)

Heh, had to book it on 'cos I was going out of town & it needed doing before christmas.. I'll let you all know what sort of job they do.

This all hinges on whether my cheap abarth bumper arrives tomorrow or not, though.

OT: does anyone know who owns the blue punto sporting with big silver aftermarket alloys, in fairfield, stockton? It's smart.
