I have just replaced a PC at home. The old one was a PII 266MHz (with MMX), maxed out to 384 MB RAM.
However it has been replaced with something much faster - A Pentium 4 2.6 GHz (with hyperthreading), and 2GB RAM. Don't ask about graphics - I don't know!

Thing letting my Vista rating down is my CPU, I get >6 in everything else CPU is 5.8 IIRC. Gonna invest in the fastest CPU my board will take and another Graphics card to run crossfire :slayer: . My pc struggles a little with Farcry 2 at full detail @ 1980x1280 lol.

That's more than fast enough for most people if they'd only lay off loading all the crap on it. I amuses me how peeps go out and buy something fairly fast and then within 2 weeks they've loaded it with so much sh$te it runs slower than my 6 year old workhorse (Barton 2.5k+)
