I have just had what I thought was a puncture and had to fit the spare...I did say sorry to the spare tyre because it has been in the same place for 10 years and 2 months ! So this morning I took the old tyre to the depot and the man said that the damage to the tyre was caused by a pothole... it had also slightly damaged the inside edge , but he was able to help it back.. with the aid of a lump hammer.
The annoying thing is that I had seen the pothole and had managed to miss with the front but the back went into it. So instead of £11 to repair a puncture it was £ 54.06 for a new tyre. Now all I have to do is get the money to replace the other three...
