Ducato Welding Swift Sundance 1.9td 2000.

Hi, i need to weld the front offside inner wing, under the battery tray.
I will remove the battery and the liesure battery connections, also the alternator plug.
The welding is close to the under wing ECU do i need to do anything with the ECU before welding? Any help would be much appreciated.

Might be better to pull plug on any ECU in close proximity just in case due to their delicate electronics...

Thanks for the reply. Will i need to wait for the system to power down before removal. I am concerned because these Ducato vans with immobilisers are really sensitive to any interference? Thanks again.
