General welding rear shock mounts

Whilst cleaning up the rustI found that both rear shock mounts need welding, (the rust was hidden by the boot carpet and a tonne of dirt in the wheel arch). Any one out there had it done? Likely cost?? any problems??

if you look on the turbo collective site you'll find photos of my car with the exact same problem, so bad that the top of the turret was waving about, and you can see the mechanics head through the hole!!! it cost about £200 for both sides to be properly cut out and rewelded.
