Punto (Mk2/2b) Weird?!

Had my punto ticking over just to check everything was all good and by switching the main beam on it kinda skips and rumbles a little? Then goes back to normal? Never known this happen on any other car I've been in so just curious? Any helps appreciated

if you switch on all the electrics it will do it worse. It's because you are drawing more current from the alternator. Don't think i've ever had a car that didn't do it a little
