Weird Light

Good Morning!! I have a weird light that keeps coming on. Sometimes it will come on for 10 seconds, and go back off, and spemtimes it will come on for 10 minutes. I don't feel a change in the way the vehicle runs, so not sure what is going on, and according to the Fiat book for the 1998 Fiat Brava 1.6, it says that if it sporadically comes on and then goes out, that that is normal. Huh? It has to come on for a reason right? The light looks like a fuel nozzle with the fuel spraying out, and is red. Last time I had this, the car stuttered and I ended up replacing a fuel injector. Please help!

It is a fuel injector light, but it aint just for that, but for 100 of other things. Its in general an engine management light. The only way to get a readout what is the problem is to get a diagnostic check done.

Should I just go back to the Fiat dealership or should I take it to a shop like ATU.

Any place that can do a diagnostic check on it, to read out the fault. After they read out the fault, they should erase it also. Then if it starts to flicker again, you know what it is.
If its sporadic it doesnt need to be changed right away, or it may just be a loose connection or similar.

Thanks, I'll get it checked out. Hopefully they will tell me if it is just a little loose, and fix it right there without charging an arm & leg. Thanks again for the help!!
