weird fog light button flashing!

For some reaon my rear fog button light comes on when i put the brakes on or use my right indicator! the right indicator has gone a bit weird too, it doesnt always work which i thought might just be a bad connection. any thoughts???

mine did the same bad earth take out the bulbs clean the connectors with a cotton bud and put them back in should sort it

Hello..

the earth pin on one or both of the light cluster connector will probably be corroded and weak. try cleaning it up with some wd40 and then push the two contact sides of it together with a small screwdriver or something. if this doesent work, make a new earth connection to the cluster by soldering or using push on connectors..

Can you explain me deeply what do you mean? I don't understand what and where I have to clean.
Does I have to clean the light bulbs of the brake/indicator?

The rear lights(clusters) need negative/ earth poles so the bulbs can work. The problem that they are talkin about is the contacts in the boot. Yo have to clean them and/or pull a nother earth wire to it. The earth is on the whole car, so you can use any place to get it from.

So, if I understand it correctly, I have to clean all the contacts on this image:

If cleaning is not enough how can I test the earth connection? Where does I to connect a wire to test it?

Btw. is it dangerous to clean/test it when the auto is off? Am I risking to be electrocuted? :/

Can clean the contacts on the pic, but the earth wire is on the connector on the back of it (the cluster on the pic). And you cant get electricuted on the car, exept if you put your finger in the spark plug leads and someone starts the engine
