I can’t open the video I’m guessing it’s been taken down.

I was recently introduced to the concept of Hamlon’s Razor a bit like Occam’s razor if you have ever heard that phrase)
“never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.”

It’s come into use quite a bit and is a far better way to explain many of the conspiracy theories that often go around

I suspect these plans to restrict uk farming is something more along the lines of keeping food prices up to benefit the shops who are often run or owned by politicians and party donors.

I don’t profess to know much at all about farming but if clarksons farm is anything to go by the whole industry is a shambles of excessive bureaucracy and legislation.

Ultimately they don’t want uk farmers to farm what could be bought in cheaply from abroad to give a fair price to uk farmers for what they produce would mean putting the price up for supermarkets and reducing their profit margin.
 
It's a post on a rather good site, called Global Dissident. They seem to get all the latest, right off the press.
Seems British farmers have been made an offer of 2500 per year to let their crops rot, while still getting paid!!
To me, while initially sounding alarming seems exactly what the EU did (to keep prices high) when we were in it, so begs the question, are we really out?
 
It’s a conspiracy site, I’ve not been offered any money and, in fact, I get none of the subsidies we did get…as for the EU, I got my track repaired and relaid after the 2013 floods, I got nothing from the g’ment.
As for starving our populace, we’ve not been self sufficient, in food production, since before the First World War, and to be able to would take a generation

Yes, I knew about the UK never having been self sufficient..
As for your track, where do you think the EU get their money from, seeing as the UK was a net contributor, and quite a major one at that.

I’m not getting into the politics as it’s one big screw up…but, even the ONS says we got more than we gave, certainly feels like that as more and more smaller farms get less or nothing in subsidies, and what happened to the millions for the NHS?
