Hi all,

This is my first time on the fiat forum, but as the back seat of my Bravo 2008 is currently resembling a swimming pool I thought 'well why the hell not'. The leak appears to be coming in from the boot area but not from by passing the seals, travelling down the right hand side boot and wheel arch trim (where the right hand side air bag canister is located) and flooding the rear right hand seats. When the rain is really heavy you can actually see the water dripping out of the crescent shaped hole where the seat belt protrudes. My thoughts are that the leak is coming from the top right hand corner of the boot frame where a number of bodywork skins come together. This car is currently costing me a fortune and I really don't want to get rid of it right now as I have just spent approximately £1000 in the last four months on it (timing belt, drop links, ball joint, front discs and pads, rear discs and pads, rear brake calliper), but I don't want to spend anymore on it. Any thoughts?

Hi , and welcome to FF,
the Bravo 2008+ section will be the best place to ask the model specific q's,

are you SURE it's not getting in around the rear doors..??,
TALC, or kitchen roll is good for leak path detection,

Ok thanks for that. Pretty sure it's not the door seals, managed to pull back the ceiling trim a bit and it's definitely higher than door seal level.

roof mounted aerial..??,
Charlie
It sounds (from reading another link), that the leak may be coming from underneath the black rubber trim that runs the full length of the roof. Its virtually invisible, but apparently there is a seam where the roof panel and the side panels meet underneath the trim. I'm hoping that a liberal application of silicone will do the trick.
