my passenger side window goes up very slow, its getting slower and slower as the days go by, what can i do? i cant exactly put sex lubricant on the window, someone must have had this problem?

Someone posted about this yesterday I think. Dismantle and loads of WD40 was the answer I believe.

Hello mate.

Take off the door trim, get a can of WD40 and spray the mechanisms.

That should sort it.

I also read from another forum that upgrading battery (especially after ICE etc) is a good idea.

Upgrading the battery won't help as the window motor is crap and the wiring is also crap.

Take off the door card (see bravo-guide) then clean the centre aluminium spar where the white plastic glide goes up and down. Then spray the spar with WD40, or even better put some light grease on the runners. This is the main culprit.

While you have the card off, you can also spray the cables as well - or at least give them a bit of a clean.

Now using plus gas (or WD40 if you must) and using the thin tube that comes with it, spray up the channels where the edge of the window comes up.

This should then be perfect - I havent had one that aint been yet

Its about a 10 min job - 25 to change the whole mechanism, but doing the latter mean loosing a finger or two, patience and blood!!
