General washers / wipers

[Oversteer]

Hello does anyone know if there is a relay that I can swop from another Fiat model to make the wipers do 3 or 4 sweeps of the windscreen when I operate the washers. My previous non fiat did this and I miss this, at the moment I have to operate the washers then the wipers separately.

Don't know anout swapping relays, but I would just say leave it alone. I much prefer the independent control of water to screen and wiper operation. You'll get used to it.

I think someone said the marea does it. Maybe someone with a marea can let us know.

Yes, atleast mine does. Still I prefer the one on my brava.

EDIT: Took a look at the wiring diagrams, bravX has wire running to the headlamp washers control where marea has the same wire split to go to the wiper motor.

I'm pretty sure what you need is more than just a swap of relays to be honest.

Speaking as an owner of a 10 plate Corsa, and a 2000 plate Bravo HLX. I much prefer the indepent operation of the jets and wipers. The Corsa has the jets & wipers as a single function, and it's damn annoying. You might just want to squirt a tiny amount of fluid on the screen, and the wipers will wipe away like crazy afterwards, leaving smears.

Sometimes progress is backward.
