Hi there.

I've been a Skoda owner for the past five and a half years so I've spent a fair amount of time over on Briskoda.net , but after two octavias I fancy a change and a Bravo is looking likely when I buy a new car next year.

The 5 year unlimited mileage warranty is a big plus as I do up to 30k a year and I really like the idea of 60mpg from the 1.6 diesel as well , plus it's a damn good looking car.

Ah another to be ex-briskodian. I too was one of them. Traded in my VRS after no end of troubles.

My Mk1 octavia was very reliable - a failed clutch master cylinder was the only problem of note for the 80k miles I did in it. The Mk2 hasn't been as good with creaking suspension that took 12 visits to 2 dealers to silence , and a failed turbo at 54k miles which fortunately was just under warranty.

I think it's fair to say that Fiats don't have the greatest reputation for reliability , but I'm willing to give them a chance. Plus , my first car was a Panda 1000CL and that was good fun
