right some people may have noticed that the " and @ symbols are swapped on some computers. i think this is because its an american setting and also think this can be changed with the language toolbar option that you can have on the taskbar.

my language bar does nothing when i tick to activate it.


any ideas on this???????????

while im on it i am using a laptop that my mum got from her work and it was a school laptop and it does some sort of scan everytime i close the computer which is to do with the school settings.

any ideas what this is and how i can get rid of it?

i cba 2 turn it off just to see exactly what it says lol sorry.


any help with the above will be greatly appreciated.

p.s i know all can be solved via google but i would like to see what u guys can offer lol.

nope xp was pre installed ????

its just some are made by americans who remove the language files and leave only the usa option.
all bought new retail?
