Having problems with JTD Y reg multipa alarm going off in the middle of the night. I have checked with the manual supplied with the car and when I switch the alarm off i get 5 flashes on the car alarm warning light indicating the alarm was triggered by the volumetric sensors. I have tried to switch off the volumetric sensors by turning the ignition key from stop to Mar and then back to stop and remove key but i cannot get the led to light up for the 2s to indicate they have been disabled.
Can anyone help me either cure the fault or disable the volumetric sensors. I have young children so would prefer not to have the volumetric sensors working anyway.

Thanks

Dave

turn the engine off, turn ignition on and off again [with in 10 secs], the tell tail light on the dash should flash to say its disabled the ultra sonics, get out of the car and lock using remote button.failing that ,try to unplug the ultra sonics which are in your front ceiling lamp.slide it to the drivers side and get a flat screw driver on the pass side and prize it down.failing that, when you remote lock your car, keep the button pressed for about 10 secs or the alarm beeps, and this will disable your alarm siren till the next time you set your alarm.only your indicators will flash when the alarm is set off......................................
