My dad is cameraman for my rugby club & wonders if there is somewhere he can upload a video of the match for all to see - perhaps so they can download it? It would also be useful for supporters who live a long way away etc.

He currently uploads small chunks to youtube but it only allows 10 minute segments & takes ages.
I wondered if he could use P2P - in the same way as people can download a film etc. His computer is never turned off so there's no problem with storage, just how others can access it to download/watch?
There isn't much money around so the club can't really buy webspace.
The video is just long enough to fit on a DVD so generally just under the 4.7GB (usually around 4.6GB.
Or any other options?

I'm assuming the video is 8-90 minutes long in which case I'd seriously suggest compressing it much more before trying to put it online. Even a 720p video of that length can be made to go under 2GB using h264 in the mkv container with no serious loss of quality.

P2p works best if several people have the file (or at least several part of it) so that is worth considering but you may find your dads PC ends up serving most of it anyway. You would have to be careful about using up your ISPs traffic allowance - "unlimited" often means 40GB in reality.
