Good Morning, It's been a while since I was last on here, but life seems to have gotten in the way recently(n)
The Stilo is still giving problems and I need to get it sorted ASAP
Basically I bought it last September and it was fine 41-43mpg as normal.
But since then the MPG has plummeted and is now critical (barely getting 32mpg, its costing me £30 of fuel to do 60 miles )
Ive had wheels checked, no problems, new air filter, new spark plugs, and just been for full brake check and stripdown, no problems with them at all. infact the guy checking said they were perfect:D
The cracked flexipipe was replaced a few weeks ago and even though its now not roaring its still poor MPG
The car feels like its driving through syrup, and driving against resistance.
The best way I can describe it is like rugby players pushing against a scrum wall. or running with an elastic tied to your back..
The only thing left to check is the oil, but that looks OK. But i'll still do a full change and flush on Friday.
I thought about 02/lambada sensor but if it was that it would flash up an "eml" warning surely.
At my wits end with this car, if i cant get it fixed its going as i'm not getting into another moneypit again.
Any ideas welcome, and can anybody recommend a decent independant FIAT specialist in the Swindon/Wiltshire area:idea:
Many thanks
Ste
